how to delete more than one network connections in windows 7/vista/xp



So many friends confused to delete/disable more than one “DIAL-UP/NETWORK” connections in windows7/windows vista. But its very sample!! Just fallow the bellow steps.

To delete/disable a connection to a remote network

·        Click on Network and Sharing Center. Present in control panel or click on the network icon in the taskbar


·        Then click on “change the adapter settings” then you will see all the available network connections

·        Right-click the connection you want to delete, and then click Delete (OR) if u wants disconnect the connection   then you can choose disconnect. But before delete you must disconnect the network connection.

·        If you chosen delete then In the Confirm Connection Delete dialog box, click OK.
·        The connection is removed from the list of available connections that you can view or modify.

To delete/disable  a wireless network connection

·        Click on Network and Sharing Center  in control panel
·        In the Tasks pane, click Manage wireless networks.
·         Right-click the connection you want to delete, and then click Remove network.
·        In the Manage Wireless Networks - Warning dialog box, click OK.
·        The connection is removed from the list of wireless connections that you can view or modify.
Delete or Disconnect Additional Network Connections in other OS
Please don’t use more than one network connection at the same time. And disconnection the connection before Delete
Windows 7:
On the Windows taskbar (bottom, right), right-click the connection icon and select Disconnect from [connection name]
Windows Vista:
On the Windows taskbar (bottom, right), right-click the connection icon and select Disconnect from [connection name]
Windows XP:
On the Windows taskbar (bottom, right), right-click the Wireless Network Connection icon and select Disable.
Mac OS 10.x:
On the menu bar (top, right), right click the wireless icon and select Turn AirPort Off
